Head Teacher
Mrs. Elizabth Huwe
My husband and I are very happy to be a part of the Beaver community. This past year has been a wonderful experience. We moved back to Western Pennsylvania after spending 2 years in a charming small town, Mechanicsburg, PA. We are sold on small-town living and have enjoyed making new friends, walking along historic streets, and supporting the local shops and restaurants. Beaver is a wonderful place to call home.
Coming from a family of childhood educators, I came to the profession in a roundabout way. After completing a degree in music performance from Duquesne University, I worked at an Early Learning Center in McCandless, PA, and became a member of the Euphonium/Baritone horn section of the River City Brass Band. I left the Center when pregnant with my first child but stayed with the band for a toe-tapping twenty years. Later, with a family of six children, I took on the role of office manager at my husband’s pediatric practice. During this period of my life, I found great joy in teaching children in various church-related activities. Later my husband closed his pediatric practice. It was then, after much prayer and searching, that I came upon a local preschool position and was soon teaching music and assisting in a classroom. I went on to complete the Child Development Associate program and continue to maintain this credential. I taught preschool in Mechanicsburg, PA before moving with my husband to Beaver. I look forward to meeting you and am truly excited to continue to be able to share my passion, knowledge, and experience with the children of Park Preschool!
Mrs. Britney McCall
I am a life-long resident of Beaver County and currently reside in Midland, PA. With my husband Shane and our two boys. I previously worked for the Western Beaver School District as a Paraprofessional up until I became a full-time mom! I decided it was time to go back to doing what I love and this will now be my second year as assistant teacher at Park Presbyterian Preschool!
My kids and I enjoy trips to the Beaver Library, fun art projects at home, baking, anything outdoors such as long family walks, swimming and trips to Lake Erie! We are also active members of St. Blaise Parish in Midland. I graduated from Big Beaver Falls High School and obtained my Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the Community College of Beaver County. I have much experience with children of all ages from infants to high school!
I have always had a love and passion to work with children and I’m so excited to be a part of your child's life-long learning experience!
